\"\"Southeast Georgia Health System<\/a>, a regional healthcare network offering comprehensive medical services through two acute care hospitals and multiple specialty centers, has appointed Christy Jordan<\/a> as Chief Executive Officer. Southeast Georgia Health System partnered with Buffkin \/ Baker on the executive search.<\/p>

In her role as CEO, Christy will be responsible for the overall vitality of the Health System as its representative to the community, industry groups, key stakeholders, and local and national governments. She will be responsible for leading, communicating, and evaluating all elements of the Health System\u2019s strategic and operational functions, while also being involved in the local community, in addition to regional, state, and national healthcare organizations, to advocate and influence on behalf of populations served by Southeast Georgia Health System. Christy will report directly to the Board of Directors.<\/p>

Christy has been with Southeast Georgia Health System for 13 years, beginning as Director of Risk Management & Assistant General Counsel and advancing to Chief Legal Officer. She has served as Interim President and CEO since June 2025. Earlier in her career, Christy was an attorney for healthcare practices at firms including Arnall Golden Gregory LLP, Epstein Becker & Green, and Jones Day. Christy holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University and a Doctor of Law from the University of Georgia School of Law.<\/p>

Southeast Georgia Health System is a not-for-profit community health system serving residents and visitors across six counties in Southeast Georgia since 1888. Headquartered in Brunswick, Southeast Georgia Health System operates two acute care hospitals, multiple specialty centers, three Immediate Care Centers, and an extensive physician network offering a full range of medical services, from primary care and emergency medicine to advanced specialties such as cardiology, oncology, orthopedics, and neurosurgery.
