CHKD partnered with Buffkin \/ Baker on the executive search.<\/p><p>In his role as VP of Facilities and Support Services, Jason will provide leadership to approximately 150 team members and be responsible for almost 60 locations. He will uphold and promote policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. He will also have oversight for facilities, engineering, safety &amp; security, construction, and real estate, as well as for environmental (EVS) and nutrition services (FNS). Jason will report to the company\u2019s Chief Clinical Operations Officer, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/christopher-foley-b3ba061b6\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dr. Christopher Foley<\/a>.<\/p><p>Jason joins CHKD from Hammes, a vertically integrated real estate solutions platform, where he served as Vice President. Prior to Hammes, he worked at MedStar Health for 11 years as Assistant Vice President of Real Estate &amp; Facilities. Earlier roles include Architectural &amp; Compliance Manager at Children\u2019s National Health System and Senior Project Manager as Karlsberger. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The Ohio State University and an MBA in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from the University of Maryland Global Campus.<\/p><p>CHKD is the only freestanding, full-service children\u2019s hospital in Virginia and serves the medical and surgical needs of children throughout greater Hampton Roads, the Eastern Shore of Virginia, and northeastern North Carolina.
